Weaver already allowed 17 earned runs, 7 home runs on 22 hits in just 13.2 innings of work over 4 starts this season. Left-handers hitting him with .333 batting average and right-handers hitting him with .375 batting average. Weaver will be backed by a poor Diamondbacks bullpen that are ranked 24th with 5.36 ERA.
On the other side even with last night loss, Athletics are still a red hot team going into this contest with 13-3 record over their last 16 games. Athletics turning attention to their ace Frankie Montas who has an outstanding pitching season so far with 1.57 ERA and 1.00 WHIP. Montas already pitched 23.0 full innings over 4 starts while allowing only 4 earned runs which gives us average of just 1 run allowed per 1 game. Montas will be backed by strong Athletics bullpen ranked 4th in the MLB with 3.55 ERA.
