Baylor Bears: Defensive problems.
The Bears are not favorites, sports journalists doubt that the Bears have the weapons to play against commodores. The Bears’ record was 6-6-0 in the regular season. Slightly with negative record 4-5 in the Big 12 Conference, but with a positive record at home 4-2 overall. The Bears suffered many defeats this season, they did not have a single winning streak.
The problem of the Bears has been defensive, they are allowing up to 31.2 points per game, 36.2 rushes with 180.8 yards. By air the Bears allow up to 243.5 yards with only 19.2 complete passes.
Charlie Brewer has not had a bad season, 61.5% of completions, 2635 yards, 17 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. Brewer has also been effective as a runner, 117 rushes as QB this season for 266 yards and 6 touchdowns.
