Zac Thomas has played very well throughout the season, 65.3% of completions, 16 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. Most of the interceptions have been at home. In the last game, last week against Georgia State (Sun Belt), Thomas completed 83.3% in passes.
Troy Trojans: Number one in the conference.
The Trojans have a perfect record in the conference with seven wins and zero defeats: South Alabama 38-17, UL Monroe 35-27, Coastal Carolina 45-21, Georgia State 37-20, Louisiana 26-16, Georgia southern 35-21 and last week’s last conference win against Texas State 12-7. On the road the Trojans lost only one game in the seventh week this season, so far everything has been positive on the road.
Sawyer Smith as starting QB this season has had good numbers, 63.2% in passes completed with only 9 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Most of the TDs have been on the road with 58.5% of completed passes. The Trojans score up to 29.6 points on the road per game, the defense allows up to 21.2 points.
